A US/UK exchange with menu prepared by Chef Phillip Dewayne under the culinary inspiration of Aaron Bertelsen’s new book “Grow Fruit and Vegetables in Pots.”
Join local Chef Phillip Dewayne and Great Dixter Gardener Aaron Bertelsen for an English manor style dinner prepared with locally sourced seasonal produce and meats. Enjoy three family style courses with beer and wine selections seated at a table with either Chef Phillip or Aaron Bertelsen at the head. The meal will feature microgreens and edible florals grown by Dixon horticulturalist and urban farmer Adam Queen, florals grown at the Dixon and arranged and presented by Dixon floral designer Kim Jameson, and fresh meats from Home Place Pastures in Como, MS, as well. All guests will receive a signed copy of Aaron’s new cookbook to keep as a memento of this specially curated evening featuring all of the talents of the Dixon staff and our British friend from Great Dixter, Aaron Bertelsen.
