For the LOVE of Gardening

Learn how YOU can Grow Local! Memphis Tilth is partnering with the Memphis Botanic Garden to host a 3-part garden themed workshop series with each week focusing on a new topic led by local gardeners from our communities and neighborhoods. Thursdays, February 7, 21, and 28
Classes begin at 6:00pm. $10 at the door and $8 on https://flog2019.
February 7: Jennifer Marshall (Community Garden Organizer) – Find out how your yard can be a part of a larger community of environmental efforts and to encourage/support wildlife. Topics include wildlife habitat certification, monarch waystation recognition, and pollinator garden certification.
February 21: Chris Peterson (Alpha Omega Veterans Services Urban Farm Manager) – Get tips on proper gardening tool usage and maintenance.
February 28: Asuka Yow (Community Kitchen Coordinator) – Learn about the dangers of sugar and benefits of eating fresh produce.
