In Betty Montgomery’s first book, A Four-Season Southern Garden, she shared her gardening experience from forty years of love and labor in both of her Zone 7 gardens in Campobello, South Carolina and Hendersonville, North Carolina. Her presentation will draw from this book and take you on a journey through the four seasons of her southern gardens. A hands-on Master Gardener who derives great satisfaction from nurturing plants, bushes, and trees, Betty has learned through trial and error the most successful methods for creating healthy and colorful gardens. She has shared these tips through gardening columns in two newspapers. Betty focuses on plants that flourish in the Zone 7 climate.
