Jenks Farmer is a renaissance plantsman, lover of the natural world, garden designer, storyteller and author!

Jenks owns a connoisseur nursery in South Carolina specializing in Crinum lilies that he cultivates on an organically managed 18th century farm, home to his family for seven generations. He is also a nationally recognized garden designer, creating beautiful botanical gardens, public spaces and private gardens.  Jenks is former director of Riverbanks Botanical Garden in Columbia, SC, hailed by Horticulture magazine as one of 10 gardens that inspire and by HGTV as one of America’s 20 great gardens.

Jenks is an acclaimed storyteller and author. In his presentation, “Funky Little Flower Farm Stories and Plants”, based on his latest book, Jenks will share stories of life and the plants on his old-school farm.
