The Ames Plantation is home of the National Championship of Field Dog Trials and a Research Partner with UT AgResearch. Dr. Houston specializes in Forest and Wildlife Ecology at UT-Knoxville. He will speak about Forestry and Wildlife Research, interpretation and preservation of the area’s cultural heritage.

Dr. Houston’s presentation will be held at the Memphis Botanic Garden at 7:00 p.m. It’s free for Memphis Horticultural Society members, but guests are asked to make a $5 donation at the door. Doors open at 6:30.
