Jeanne Rosetta Guidi is a professional grower of perennials as well as a selection of herbs. She and her husband, Ray, own and operate Melodia Hill Plant Farm, a wholesale nursery outside of Jackson, TN.  They specialize in plant material for the challenging and diverse Tennessee climate. Jeanne has been growing perennials for over 20 years. After a career in international banking, Jeanne ditched the corner office and high heels and started a plant farm in her home state of Arkansas. Within a few years, Jeanne had grown the business into a wholesale operation offering a large line of herbs and perennials to a four state area. Jeanne has been featured on the ‘P. Allen Smith Garden’ show and ‘Today’s Garden’ with Janet Carson and has been a speaker at numerous garden shows and for various extension education programs in Arkansas and now Tennessee.

Jeanne sold her original nursery operation in 2004 but she missed her business greatly. When Jeanne met her soon to be husband Ray in 2009, they combined their growing skills and interest in horticulture to form Melodia Hill Plant Farm which, over the last 10 years, has become a significant supplier of perennials in the West Tennessee market. Melodia Hill offers over 360 varieties of perennials including many hard to find natives.
