Dr. Dwayne Estes, director of Austin Peay State University’s Southeastern Grasslands Initiative, is a passionate advocate for our native grassland habitats, their preservation and restoration. He was awarded the Tennessee Wildlife Federation’s Conservationist of the Year Award in 2017.
