If you are into birdwatching or gardening… or just have always been curious, you won’t want to miss The Birds & the Seeds! The Birds & the Seeds event will have a variety of activities to help folks escape the winter blues and get ready for spring:

• Seed Swap — The last Saturday in January is National Seed Swap Day, Bring seeds to swap and take some home
• Bird watching and gardening experts to answer questions
• Birdwatching seminar by Backyard Wildlife Center Curator Mary Schmidt
• Birding from the balcony
• Plant sales from the Lichterman greenhouse
• Live animal presentations
• Activity tables hosted by Community Partners
