Bernhard Meck thinks outside the box. His art, all at once practical and visionary, is difficult to categorize. Calling it “hardscape,” while largely accurate, does not do it justice. No slight to brick, block, and stone layers, but this is not that. Free form concrete and horticulture might be a little closer to the truth, but still, you won’t understand it until you’ve seen it.
