DESCRIPTION:Memphis Botanic Garden’s annual Fall Plant Sale returns September 30 through October 3\, offering four days of expertly selected plants\, personalized advice from horticulture professionals\, and exclusive shopping opportunities for members and Preview Party guests. \n\n\n\nFollowing a successful debut this spring\, the Fall Plant Sale Preview Party (21+) returns on Wednesday\, September 30\, from 4-7 pm. Guests will enjoy exclusive early shopping before the sale opens to the public\, plus a welcome cocktail and one additional drink ticket. A food truck will be on-site\, and MBG horticulture experts will be available throughout the evening to answer questions and offer personalized recommendations. Preview Party tickets are $20 for MBG Members and $25 for non-members. DESCRIPTION:Join us as Julie Lewter and Susan Cook Ragsdale take us on the road to see their favorite hostas! \n\n\n\nSusan Ragsdale has been raising hostas in Petersburg\, TN for almost 10 years. Her Critterhaven Gardens 1-acre property is now home to almost 1\,000 different varieties of hosta and other perennial plants. \n\n\n\nJulie Lewter loves all things green and gardening. Her fascination with hostas began 43 years ago with a gifted plant from  her new mother in law of a small plant later identified as Hosta undulata “Univittata” with the challenge of “lets see if you can grow something.”  Who knew such a love of plants could stem from a small gifted plant? \n\n\n\nSusan and Julie’s presentation will be held in the Winegardner Auditorium at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens at 6:00 p.m. It’s free for Memphis Horticulture members\, but guests are asked to make a $5 donation at the door. Join us at 5:30 p.m. for refreshments and visiting with friends. We always appreciate contributions to the refreshment table.
